About a month after the Jeep cake, my good friend Myrna's daughter was turning 3. I, of course, offered to make Alessandra's lion birthday cake! Myrna purchased a lion cake pan, so no carving for me this time. After vowing to never do a Blue's Clues-type cake again, with all the icing colors and little stars, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this cake was to make. It came out really cute, and Alessandra loved it!
